well, CNBS just informed us that 'today was DEFINITELY a buying opportunity'. they referred of course to stocks that have risen 10 to 20 fold over the last year...
so i guess we'd better buy, no?
LSI...i bought it at 16 bucks (it had come from 10) and sold at 45 (grossly overvalued i thought). it's over 100 now, and a 3 dollar dip today's a 'buying opportunity'?????
i didn't hear them talk about LSI when it was at 10...
this Soviet type propaganda is really incredible. did you notice how on any given strong down day they will specifically report on what DOESN'T go down?
i really think they're getting word from above to keep the average investor's spirits up...wouldn't do if we had outflows no? GE wouldn't be able to beef up it's earnings with speculation gains and pension fund transfers after all.
it's a pity i don't get another station...the ASTRA satellite doesn't carry Bloomberg anymore apparently.
re: the fleamarket, remember the growth fund (Alger's) will always stand at the ready to manipulate it higher. so be careful with that one.
i think btw. that it would be a good buy at about 2 - 3 bucks.
