Same here. I was expecting some more vapor (or paper) launches at IDF. May be Intel wisened up. It is probably too embarrassing to release 850s when the supply of anything beyond 733 is questionable.

A little while back I said that Intel may not have an edge for having the highest speed grade at the end of the year. I have collected some more data over the few days and now I think AMD has the edge. Nothing is certain and execution is the key but I feel pretty good about Athlon/Thunderbird/Mustang MHz ramp going forward.

Intel may have the edge in 2001 but that is too far away for me to pay much attention yet.

If Thunderbird goes into production in April like I think it will we should see a double from here before Q2 earnings.

If that works out we should get 60+ by April and ~90 by July.
