John,

Re:"Everything has changed, hasn't it. AMD will execute with precision going forward, no mistakes, no delays, no cost over-runs. Intel, on the other hand, will have lousy execution, they won't be able to get out faster chips, they will have production problems, they won't be able to supply their customers."

Well unfortunately for you this is a VERY GOOD DESCRIPTION of INTEL for last 6 months.

You should ask yourself why Intel is introducing 500Mhz Cumines this quarter after AMD has DROPPED this speed grade.

Intel had better get its ACT together and NOT wait for AMD to screw up.

They need to dump RDRAM as their focus.
They need to embrace lowest cost package - FC PGA for ALL speed grades.
They need to introduce a real PC 100/PC 133 chipset/MB to replace the BX.
They need to be realistic with their product introductions -NO MORE VAPOR INTRODUCTIONS.

In any business its best to sell what you got rather than sell VAPOR.

And they need to DUMP BARRETT/OTELLINI who has come up with their DUMBASS strategy and POOR execution and put ANDY back in charge.

regards,

Kash
