Mrs. Smithee and I had a timeshare one of the 32's a few years back. Similar to this boat: ebyc.com The Bayliner 40' is much nicer: aft cabin, decent sized cabin in the bow, and another "cabin" area under the dinette area (great for stowing the kids). It'd accommodate two couples and a few kids without a problem. Even has a transom platform that would be good for diving. If I can free up some time, I'd like to get back into boating. Maybe we should have a PNF get together and charter a couple boats?
