Yes but here we are talking about paying an 800% premium for the same stock that was sold (will be sold, deal hasn't even closed yet) to KPN.

800% is a lot!

Also, it is probable that, whatever KPN makes of it, the benefits will accrue primarily to KPN shareholders.
