Pardon this lurker for butting in here, but I have a question based on the last two posts. Your answer addresses the first part of the question: >>will Cien lead that charge and leave Nortel behind because they have technologies more efficient than Nortel's and because they don't have to lug around the legacy networks of the old telecoms? << But concerning the second part: What if the technologies were the same (and not better?) Isn't the second part of the question still operative? I am not saying they are the same, but I wonder what your response would be. Thanks in advance.
