Pardon this lurker for butting in here, but I have a question based on the last two posts. Your answer addresses the first part of the question:

But concerning the second part:

What if the technologies were the same (and not better?) Isn't the second part of the question still operative? I am not saying they are the same, but I wonder what your response would be. Thanks in advance.
