I thought everyone recommended Athlon?

1. Compatibility assurance (let the 6 or 7 to one users, Intel over AMD, find any bugs before you do. "Let the industry find the problems that Intel, heaven forbid, may miss."

2. Reliability. Corporations demand higher Rel., so it's probably present in all Intel's products more than in AMD.

AMD has done a great job coming back, though, from the K5 and K6 days.
