Having seen so many of these take off, I cannot agree with your analysis. Again, I believe that the price paid by KPN for its shares is irrelevant; even early public investors in Internet movers have seen their investments increase 100X, 500X, 1000x. It is certainly possible. As for the benefits accruing primarily to KPN stockholders, that will only be true if KPN buys up the remaining 49% of EWEB prior to the Company's real growth. Until then, all shareholders will share equally in any increase in stock price.

In only 4 months, KPN's stock has increased almost $30 billion in value. My bet is always with the fastest runner in my hope that he will run just as fast in the next race as he did in the last.
