OT...it was a very interesting experience...the people were wonderful. i was surprised at their hospitality. they wouldn't allow me to pay for a single expense on my trip (other than my room). i will say the belly dancers at dinner one nite was somewhat entertaining! (again, glad my wife doesn't get on SI <g>) also, got the grand tour of their caviar processing facilities. we were fortunate enough to be guests of one of the Azery ambassadors. very unique. just didn't get to spend as much time as i would have liked. was mainly a business trip. i'll let you know the next time i take an extended, more vacation-like trip to the caspian region.... btw, if you want to sail to a unique location, i'd suggest sailing into st. petersburg, russia.
