The divergence between certain tech stocks and the rest of the broader market could go on much longer. Ultimately, the divergence will get resolved to the downside. But it's a fools game trying to predict when that day of reckoning will come.

< For some of us there is still a link between morality and reason>.

Feel free to expound on the Categorical Imperative of Pure Reason. I'm well schooled in such matters. It is a free society, Richard, so feel free to be as moral as you like. Just remember, however, that Nature and Human Life itself are greater than Morality. In a Democracy, you need to be in the majority and have the $$$$$$$ to win.

You Richard Harmon are no different than the people and the politicians and the financial powers you attack. You have a vested interest in the POG rising ( as I do) just as "they" have a vested interest in keeping a lid on the POG. The only difference is that you are in the distinct minority so you have to bring Morality into the equation. Gold will win if and when this cycle plays itself out. It will not win for any moral accolades. Get Real. If anything, the moral issue will only turn investors off to Gold.
