Re: "guess blind faith precludes any questioning or criticism of one who has in their hands control of your investment dollars?????

Um!<G> No one tells me when to take profits or losses I am in sole control of that! (edamo surely you can do better than that?)

Re: "unfortunately forward business success is not assured by past performance."

Oh common please you know dam well that's an sec disclaimer to protect the brokers. No one knows what the future holds! We're all subject to judge it by our view of the past with the only reality there is -the present. All the rest is a calculated guess. The market is a continuous risk of ideas backed up with cold hard cash.

Re: "the last quarters demonstrated the fact that an adverse condition was not met well by management."

I agree. True. But I did find this statement rather funny coming directly after; "past does not equal the future"<g> Maybe their not going to make the same mistakes?

Re: "the question i pose is solely to establish the reality that not even the mighty dell can do that which is impossible.......which is assure an infinite and strong supply chain"

I'll never argue with less than 100% why even Ted Williams never approach near that! Dell has been batting 500 or better for quite awhile with some homeruns in between. Now they strike out a few times and are in a slump of 300(BA) and everybody on the bench wants to boo them. Well I'll take a 300 hitter on my team any day for they are sure to knock in some runs and even hit a few homeruns along the way.

Re: "if you can't see the obvious, then you never will"

Both of us see the train in the rail yard -the obvious. Your view assumes it's slowing down and entering the station while mine sees it leaving the station.

The obvious is not always what it appears to be. For isn't that what makes it somewhat of a guessing game? If you -or anyone for that matter, were always correct then the prices would never fluctuate.

Remember absolute power corrupts absolutely. You have made a dam good call in Dell the past year or so(?) That alone should be reason enough not to overly criticize. They have their problems but they are not the worse one's on the street.

edamo I have always enjoyed your post they make allot of sense and help me to keep an even keel. And at times they invite creative thoughts in someone who is not very creative -me. Thanks.

ps. I know I am taking a big gamble on Dell right now but I think it will work out ok. !
