I read the proposed rule. Thats some serious stuff especially the 4 x rule. As I interpret that, the number of day trades that one can do in a single day will be greatly restricted no matter how much money you have in your account. For example if you have $50,000 in your account and you flip buy and sell $50,000 worth of LU for example four times in a day, you've used up your "special margin" of 4 x $50,0000 = $200,000.00 This 4 x rule as I read it applied to EVERYBODY regardless of equity.
