Bux, You tried to MISLEAD investors by LYING that IDC sold its pioneering patents to QCOM in 1994 and now you're trying to tell me to stick to substance? Duh!

I am more than a little surprised that IDC investors do not seem very concerned with the pioneering CDMA patent rights that were sold to only one company, even going so far as allowing them to sub-license to others

You've obviously deluded yourself into thinking that you won some great victory in that argument with the lawyer. Not only did you reveal your sad ignorance of Markman but have you realized yet how stupid you sounded pontificating and making sweeping generalizations about the legal strategies in a patent lawsuit and the legal strategies in a RAPE case?

Why don't we let people judge for themselves?

Jim's straightforward and accurate description of Markman and ERICY/IDC.

Bux' tart reply in which he cowardly insinuated that Jim was either irrational or trying to mislead investors.

But, this quote below remains my all time favorite because it explains a lot of things about Bux. I'm just waiting for Bux to cowardly deny again that he wrote this on RB before I prove that it is him.

I know these contracts are not in the public domain but I understand Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola and all other current licensees have signed contracts that obligate them to pay Qualcomm royalties if they use Qualcomm's CDMA innovations ever, even after the patents have expired.

This kind of thinking explains a lot of things, huh? We can only hope that Bux accepts his new role as the official CDMA news clipper for the IDC board. At least he's useful that way, but if history is any guide, he will try to voice his opinions and try to mislead investors again. Deja vu all over again.
