I don't think that GLE's SOFC can replace BLD's FC in the main automotive application - yet. However, I think they are further ahead or at least better suited in the area of auxillary power units and home and co-gen. I see them getting into APUs fast. There will be a large market for APUs in transportation refrigeration in the near future due to coming regulations restricting idling of transport vehicles (?). This should enable GLE to actually make money on their FC sooner than most of the competition. Once revenue is flowing in, they will be well positioned to tackle main automotive applications. That is the view that I have of GLE, based a lot on the research and comments of some very knowledgeable posters to this thread.

I don't know that you should invest in GLE to exclusion of BLD and PLUG. PLUG is well funded given its market cap and the fact that it is American. It is pricey for me. BLD still has a way to run, but I find it pricey too. Don't like to have small amounts of a stock. Larger holdings in lower price stocks has worked well for me - JDSU aside.

Read the back posts in this thread if you haven't already. Lot of good info, though people do get a little excited at times. Best of luck with GLE.
