Hmmmmmm....I'm beginning to think this is a takeover by borland--a fairly cheap one at that of one of the primo linux players.

Dale gets the Chairmen of the Board Spot? Plus one other borland seat plus Torvalds equals a block of three. They only need one of the other board members' vote to have control.

Cowpland may be making nice-nice with Dale now, but I suspect we will see his resignation soon, imo. Dale proved his mettle at Borland. I don't think he will have any problem cracking the whip at Corel.

What does Borland get--marketing machine, distribution system, 50 million built in users.

I was thinking of selling, but I'm pretty happy where things stand the more I think about it.
