Speaking about cyclical stocks at low prices, here are some more: ARV CTB CUM GT
No position in any of them, but looking.
MO is also interesting, have not followed for a long time. Not an original thought, but what happens if they spin out the company into 3 different entities - Morris tobacco, Morris foods, and Morris beverages. Would/could the tobacco liability be tagged to the other two proposed companies? Fear is running rampant, and it seems that the market is valuing Morris tobacco with a negative net worth because of litigation. I hate it when the government interferes in cases like this, and finds another way to allow lawyers to pounce, and make people less accountable for their own actions (this from a person whose mother died of cancer at age 60, smoking 2+ packs a day), but I guess I shouldn't go there.
