Fatboy thanks for your post on C3D, it served as a great reminder to me what the GG is NOT about.
In my pre GG days I would have most likely put money into
a story like this only to watch the company and my money wind up at the bottom of the chasm.
To newbies, there is a big difference between this and shinny pebbles that some of us like to take starter positions in. C3D is just a twinkle in someones eye(TISE as in tease). It will tease you with it's story of great potential and the millions of uses it's product has and so on and so on. The GG clearly states we do not invest in future potential no matter how incredible, we invest in actual present day performance and hence our money stays where it belongs rather then at the bottom of the chasm.

Fatboy the above was not aimed at you, your warnings were quite clear. It is for any newbie that may have read any of your prior excellent posts re CREE and seen Cree's stock take off, feeling that if Fatboy thinks C3D has good technology I'm not gonna miss this one.
That is why it is a must for newbies to read the getting started instructions that were recently posted and follow them.

Also as I have stated in the past, it is a must that you do your own DD and know exactly why you are investing YOUR dollars into a particular company. If you need to ask for help on whether to invest in a company or not, it means you should not.
I have seen this with myself with Cree. I read everything there was to read about cree and found myself asking the thread if it was still a good time to jump in. Guess what, since I had to ask, it's not a good time for ME. But only ME, it maybe a perfect time for somebody else and it most likely will be a great investment.
When I bought JDSU,NTAP and GMST, I did my DD and there was no question or hesitation in my mind, I knew right away they were the right companies at the right time for me and my new GG mindset.

So when in doubt,DON'T.

100 ( sorry for rambling and getting carried away so early on sunday)
