I remember back in 1997--I think--I was getting ready to bet against CSCO in mid-1998. As I was preparing my move, I became more and more familiar with its financial statements. I could make those statements squeal, bark, quack, snort, or whatever.

I decided never to go against that stock on fundamentals.
