af - 'm asking these questions because ibm didn't manage to grow any revenue! for the last quaters and only held up earnings by cutting costs! Let me remind you that IBM had a little area of concern that was referred to as Y2K that held back sales for a couple of quarters. This will not repeat for the next 7,999 years. See what the next 4 quarters do in revenue growth. I'll leave the rest of your questions for others to address. William
