Interesting you should mention the strategy of buying puts as a way of starting into cree at these levels. I think if I was out of cree and wanted to get in, but was afraid of the recent run-up, that is what I would do. I am long on cree, and have both common and June 85 calls, but I bought some June 110 puts the other day as a hedge. I think there is more of a chance of a pullback than there is of a continued run. So my plan is to sell to close the puts once it pulls back around 20% and use the proceeds to buy some more calls. I don't think I would go out as far as Septmber on my puts, though, since any pullback I would expect to occur soon and to be short-lasting. Of course, since that is my plan, it will probably keep running :-)
