Mark:

You're absolutely right, I left out all of the risk factors, (which take up over 17 pages of the S-1/A) not the least of which is the fact that PALM will have to increase its head count substantially from the present 660 and develop its own corporate support systems, so SG&A will go up significantly. I urge everyone to read the S-1/A for themselves.

But hardware sales will drive PALM for several years yet, and I see the software license revenues as additive to the hardware sales. The key to PALM's near term success will be the introduction of new and innovative products and services, partnerships with major players in the wireless/internet worlds, and execution on their business plan.

And I'm an optimist by nature, so while I've read the entire S-1/A, and parts of it several times, I see nothing to stop PALM from flying right out of the gate.
