Russ et al,

This post from the Yahoo board will help to tell you who the disgruntled minority shareholder is (i.e. Adryx) and whom they feel should be Chairman on ASL (i.e. Jean-Claude Gandur).

Given the support the 'minority' shareholder has received recently and the fact that the Chairman of ASL just resigned, because he was needed elsewhere, I think it's a lock that Mr. gandur will be the next Chairman on ASL.

FYI - Jean-Claude Gandur

Jean-Claude Gandur Toronto
Swiss Based Addax & Oryx African Oil Trading Co owned Adryx Mining & Metals Ltd. Adryx owned 50% of Samax which was sold to Ashanti. Jean-Claude Gandur was with Samax

Ashanti Bought Samax

So Gandur was Chairman of Samax which, when sold to ASL, Gandur became an employee of Adryx which started the lawsuit against ASL.

Looks like Mr. Gandur has an extreme dislike for Mark Keatley, probably through prior experience, and wants Keatley out.
Mr. Gandur will be the new Chairman of the ASL board. I wonder if Gandur knows anyone at Barrick? Perhaps Dr. Michael Martineau would make a good director also. Who knows ? My opinion only.
