Interesting about the fake diamonds (I forget the m word). They would have to take on a cache of their own which would require a really smart advertising campaign. Otherwise, most women would want real diamonds, at least for engagement rings and special gifts. But they certainly could be popular as "fakes" (the way celebrities wear fakes) of somebody's real jewelry hidden in their safe.
