Harry, I hope you're not suggesting that the holder of a call option (on COMS) has a RIGHT to Palm shares. What if I, as a COMS shareholder, sell a covered call. If the holder EXERCISES the call before the "ex-date" for share distribution, then yes, he is entitled to them. But if he only holds the option to buy the COMS shares, and I still own them, then I have the right to the spin-off, not the option holder. At least that's my understanding of it. -Alan
