In case you haven't noticed, Schlitz has gotten real good in the last year or two. And been marked down to lowlife prices.

Bass does not cost that much more than Heinekins if you have a high opinion of yourself. There have been some Sam Adams sales where you can get a 12-pack for $10 or less.

And for a beer ordinnaire, Olympia is not really terrible, though I continue to deeply resent the buying out of what was, forty years ago, a quite good Washington State label.

But try the Schlitz. Tell me if you don't agree. I did not believe it, but a friend convinced me to pick up a 6-pack.
