I would have to say this is Coach K's best job yet, as well. To have lost the players he has and still be a top 5 team, in this day and age, says a lot. He is the runaway choice for coach of the year in the conference and maybe nationally.
At this point in the season it would be hard to argue against Chris Carrawell as player of the year in the conference, also.
I cant wait for the ACC Tournament. It is back here in Charlotte, again, this year. I hope to be there for some of the sessions. As down as the conference has been this year, there are some teams making some strides in the stretch run. NC State, Virginia and Maryland could make for an interesting tournament, which, even though, has lost some of it's importance, is still an incredible event to attend. |
