Some good analysis, & an interesting approach.

Your analysis is based upon the hypothesis that T will perform in similar manner when spinning off a higher growth business as it did when it spun off LU & NCR. This approach has merit, but only if you compare the relative growth of the business LU & NCR represented vis-a-vis the stock issued both to new shareholders & existing holders of T.

You perform this step in your analysis of the wireless stock, but apparently have not done so in your historic analysis of the LU & NCR spinoff. What portion of T's business did LU & NCR represent at the time of the spinoff? What was T's growth following the spunoff? I think if these figures are obtained, they will guide one to a better estimate of how T might perform following issuance of the wireless stock.
