Dear Steve Lee: Well for you Windows lovers there is a very lengthy series of articles in this months issue of "PC Computing" or whatever the magazine is called regarding Windows 2,000. Tells the good and the bad and what to be careful of if you upgrade and even if you SHOULD upgrade. Bottom line is its better than NT, doesnt black out as much as 9x operating systems BUT for the home user who is merely surfing the Web, playing games, videos, digital cameras, scanning and all you are BETTER OFF sticking with the 9x until later this year when Millenium will be issued by MSFT. W2K offers NO USB support at all and IS NOT compatible with many digital cameras, scanners and the like. And the funny thing is its the NEW EQUIPMENT it is the least likely to be compatible with. Anyone even considering W2K should read these articles first. Gives a lot of info. of things to be done even before you start the upgrade. JDN
