I am fairly confident the last day to buy shares and participate in the Alta Vista IPO DSP was Jan 11th. Really. Kim, I have doubts about the accuracy of that comment. In fact, I have doubts about any IPO cut-off data that's not forward from the date the announcement is made. Reason: what happens if I had shares on Jan. 11 but sold them on, say, Jan 15? I would have been selling them without full disclosure of the consequences of IPO ineligibility. No cut-off date has been announced, but I strongly suspect when it is made, people will have at least a day or two to purchase CMGI shares to meet the 200-share minimum to qualify for ALTA DSP shares... However, my caveat is that this will be a very popular IPO, so maybe they won't do that... But my bet is they will. Scarecrow
