"It's amazing, just amazing how many people can't seem to understand a simple thing like a stock split. I've never seen such a simple thing so perennially, comically misunderstood by so many. Amazing. The issue never goes away--always some ninny who pops up to warn us all about not "losing out on the split". Who in their right minds can think you lose half the value of your investment if you buy at some very weird time before a 2-1 split??!?!" RE: It's amazing to me how always someone drifts way off base and calls other people "ninnies", when people are on SI to try and further their knowledge and learn certain facts about stocks their following. Relax.... N
