Jeff: Jefferson vs. Hamilton (and his federalism). Basically, Hamilton won. Again, in the year of the "Whiskey Rebellion" when Gallatin eased the tensions, that solidified the federalsit power over the state's sovereignty. Jefferson's philosophy regarding Man and individualism is right. Whether man is tilling a corn field or building spaceships to mine the asteroids -- Man is still Man. Roosevelt is no symbol of the Industrial Revolution. It was the Men of the Elightenment era who stoked the fires of both revolutions. Father Terrence
