Hello MikeM54321,

I agree completely ... as I have been working on some research in wearable computers I have decided that for the near-term the wearable will have multiple Internet interfaces which must be checked for connectivity.

There would be a 10/100 Ethernet port for hard-wired connectivity, but then various levels of wireless connectivity - possibly an 802.11b wireless card for higher speed/shorter range, then possibly some cellular technology for lower speed/longer range. Of course it might have to go to satellite for the longest "range" and roaming capabilities.

Each of these interfaces would provide a different rate of connectivity ... but in this case, I am only looking at roaming wireless ... not fixed ...
