To everyone,

I am usually using the EOD mode of WOW Internet Trader, but recently I've used the intraday screens. What confuses me is the information in the heading of intraday charts. It shows the name of the security, the last quote and up or down amount and the tick.

My questions are:

1) What is the up or down amount, specifically up or down relative to what? ... the last days close? ... the open of today? ... I do not seem to be able to find any consistent pattern, and it appears to be especially random for indices.

2) There is a little blue globe (looks like Saturn) in the lower right corner of SOME of my intraday charts - what does it mean?

3) Some of the securities seem to update "more automatically" than others. As my version of WOW is for delayed intraday quotes only, I am not surprised by the 15-20 min delay, but especially non-index symbols appear to languish easily 30 minutes.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Peter
