Novell has long lacked a "Global Event System" so that developers could get timely notifications of changes in NDS ... this seems to fill that void! An example is that I might write an application to NDS that reads your phone number, or account balance ... but if an admin makes a change, or these values change, my application has no way (today) to know that. My application has to "poll", or constantly re-read the values, to be aware of any changes. It appears that Novell (and numerous other companies) are licensing this technology to overcome these issues ... I hope to see it incorporated into NDS as soon as possible ... it will be very good for developers! Scott C. Lemon
