Globalstar USA has put up a very welcome set of instructions for activating cellular service on Globalstar phones at globalstarusa.com The instructions provide step by step details and a six page (!) list of "preferred cellular carriers" that support CDMA and/or 800MHz analog service. This is great, imo, putting to rest a fear I had that Airtouch would restrict G* customers to its networks.
