RE: PacBell DSL - I ordered it on their web site about 2 weeks ago, and at the end of the order process it says someone will call you soon to set up an installation appointment. After a week had gone by I called and the customer service person said they had no record of me in their order database, so I ordered it again through her, and she said the installation guy would probably call tomorrow (not 'today', because it was already 2pm then). 'Fine' I said, and now it is 6 days later, and no word from PacBell.

So.....maybe demand is overwhelming, maybe PacBell sucks, but some day I hope to get this DSL thing going....
