If you would like to know the true history, please read "Free to Choose" by Nobel prize-winning economist, Milton Friedman. I guarantee you, if you truly have an open mind the book will shock and amaze you. Plus you will know the truth, not the government line formulated by Keynes and fomented acidicly by J. K. Galbraith.
