Does anyone know anything in addition to what I found today on the 'latest news' on PCQUOTE.com for SGI:

"SAN FRANCISCO, April 28 (Reuyter) - Silicon Graphics Inc's
1998 revenue could rise 20 percent, led by strong server sales,
in 1998, the computer maker's chief executive said.

Silicon Graphics' operating income will grow by better than
10 percent in the same period, Ed McCracken, chief executive
officer, told investors at the Hambrecht and Quist technology
conference here.

Silicon Graphics makes desktop engineering computers,
servers to control the flow of information through networks,
and supercomputers."

While this had probably explains the increase in SGI today, what about the effects that this increase in growth will have on EPS? Anyone have any ideas?

With questions about SGI,
Al
