Don, i am currently in 'sell-the-rallies' mode anyway...and i have begun to make some extreme bets with far otom puts. of course i can not be certain when it will happen, but i firmly believe that the market may be in for a big decline. i would change my mind if the currently weak indices were to rally hard enough to vault back above recently broken trend lines. i would have to assume then that the market has unexpectedly found a fresh source of liquidity to draw on (such as e.g. Japanese institutions). note that crude oil has surmounted the $30 barrier. this has the same effect on consumption as a tax hike... regards, hb
