I have been in ONDI for a while. Normally, I might agree with you; however, on 2/8/00, they announced the following:
For the fourth quarter, total revenues were a record $13,850,000, an increase of 57 percent over the fourth quarter of 1998. Data recovery service and product revenues were a record $9,648,000, a 35 percent increase over fourth quarter 1998. Software revenues increased to a record $4,202,000 compared to $1,633,000 in the fourth quarter of 1998. Net income, excluding one-time expenses related to the terminated Legato Systems, Inc. merger, was $1,565,000, or $0.15 per diluted share, compared to $845,000, or nine cents per diluted share, in the same period a year ago. Diluted net income per share, excluding the aforementioned one-time expenses and amortization of goodwill relating to Ontrack's acquisition of Mijenix Corporation, was $0.18 per share, an increase of 100 percent over the fourth quarter of 1998.
With a PE of 21.9, and a float of 3mm shares, it may not see these levels again, as there are not that many stocks doing this well, at this price. |
