Hi Process Boy,
If F12 shipped 1 million Coppermine die last week, that implies 850,000 F12 Coppermines 3-4weeks from now (assuming a 10-20 % loss through assembly,burn-in and test).

Now maybe that is not unreasonable !

As you say the 0.18micron process is also running large amounts of new Coppermine derivates( large cache versions), Timna and Merced, Willamette, and other `monster chips'. Thus a large part of the 0.18 micron capacity may not be going into Coppermine. If so the F12 poster may be factual.

It speaks well of 0.18 micron capacity ramp. It should make it possible to ship Willamette in volume in the second half of the year, if the Willamette infrastructure issues are put to bed. It also implies that Timna is imminent.

I am eagerly awaiting the disclosures from the IDF regarding
the performance and delivery schedules on Timna, Willamette and Merced. Then we will be able to put the 0.18 micron capacity in perspective.
