Mark, there's always a cutoff date. In this case it's "at the close of business April 4, 1997."

Also, send your proxy in--as the statement on it requests. This is necessary to calculate the number of shares represented, etc. Note that GRNO has to have 80% of the outstanding and eligible shares voted in favor of a director for election to the board make the proposed changes (there's a proposed amendment to do away with this requirement). If you actually attend the meeting, you can change your vote there if you want to do so. You can bet that GRNO will have to send follow-up reminders and other solicitations (more expense) unless they're confident that the 80% figure will be met.

Finally, I checked with Bo, and the preliminary information on the time and place of the stockholders meeting is correct--1:00 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The "official notice" in the mailing to the stockholders is _NOT_ correct (10:00 a.m. at the Charleston Place Hotel). At least if you show up at 10 am you won't be late! A correction may yet be mailed.

On the website: the South Carolina international business management students were supposed to be working on this as well as the marketing multi-media CD (more reason to have an audio-enabled website), but I don't know the status of their work. The CD will be unveiled at the stockholders meeting.
