I HATE to say it but Elmers number do make sense.

Fab 12 may be able to run up to 8-10K wafers/wk.

So if 50% capacity is now ramped to 0.18 that could well make sense.

And apparently Fab 12 was one of the first intel fabs to go P858.

Now they all could be 500-700Mhz speed grades etc.

And AMD has a new price cut due on 2/27 where the 550 looks like gulag material.

By end of Q1 once the 900Mhz speed grades come out - I suspect the 600's will go to the Gulag as well.

Interesting games between AMD/Intel.
