Frank, if the Democrats or liberals really cared about the needy, they would seek to end the monopolistic government controlled public education system. A system, which in all too many cases, traps the poor in generational cycles of underachievement. Intellectually it makes absolutely no sense to defend a monopoly like government schools, while on the other hand screaming bloody murder against the evils of monopolistic terror from companies like Microsoft. If liberals truly cared, they would care about the most important issue preventing the poor from accessing the amazing wealth and opportunity this nation has to offer. EDUCATION. With education and knowledge comes independence. Something liberals like Jesse Jackson fear the most. Most liberals like Jesse Jackson send their kids to private schools funded off the backs of the poor, while working to prevent those same poor from ever attending the same private school. Chelsea Clinton was a perfect example of this hypocritical, ideologically close minded rigid belief system. A belief system locking the poorest of the poor in cycles of despair and dependence.
