Actually these were in die form as speculated on Intel thread.

Fab 12 doesn't do final assy/test.

Assuming a 3-4 week ld for assembly/test/final ship/and lead-time for OEMS we are looking at end of Q1 as end of shortages.

Now AMD is gonna drop the 550 on 2/27. And they will likely drop the 600 at end of quarter.

AMD is gonna ramp the MHZ down Intels throat. Apparently EVERYTHING(on AThlon) is yielding 750Mhz and above right now.

The real key is Intel binsplits.

If intel is yielding the same bin splits as AMD we will see a mighty big oversupply- and both AMD/Intel could get hurt.

If Intels binsplits are lower than AMD - Intel could be in a WORLD of hurt in Q2.

If AMDs binslits are lower than AMD- AMD will hurt big time in Q2.
