Kari, Thank You...
I genuinely appreciate your input. Based on the things I've read about him, I'm inclined to think that, up close and personal, Mr. Cowpland is a very personable and convincing fellow. But he doesn't seem to project the kind of good judgment and integrity that encourages investors to bet large sums of money on him.
All this discussion, though, will soon become moot. In a month or so we will start to see bottom line evidence of the wisdom of the course Corel and Imprise are taking. In the meantime, I've brought my commitment down to the point where I can participate modestly in the upside (if any) without jeopardizing my financial welfare.
Again, Kari, I appreciate your comments. It is nice to hear something positive about Mr. Cowpland. Like you, "I still hold out hope for Corel and Inprise." That, and a somewhat limited knowledge of the software industry are what convinced me that I shouldn't unload everything.
