Rebel, if the Institutions own more than 5%, then they cannot sell without notification, and my understanding was insiders were considered anyone unable to trade without the notification.........hmmm...

And yes, the numbers seem to not ever add up. I contacted IR after the Frontier merger was completed, because the numbers on Yahoo! were not adding up. Then I contacted Yahoo! with the corrected numbers, and then they corrected the numbers part way...I then re-contacted IR and they contacted Yahoo! and after about 4 weeks the ~794M shares outstanding became current. Since then, I sort of left it all alone until last week when I noted the % Short...I was just involved with a UTE that had 30 days short interest, with only 10% of the float shorted. Anyway, short interest most definitely has an impact on share price, simply by making more shares available to a limited audience (supply and demand thingie)....and short ratio hides that effect if high volumes are being experienced...both numbers (% and ratio) need to be examined for a clear picture of the effect. PS: the UTE had a 7% dividend on it which was the obligation of the shorts, and here with GBLX no dividend to ward off the squatters...and the incumbrence of lowered share price during a buildout phase is nothing to be ignored. Anyway, thanks for all the input.
