Eva, i was just kidding, giddy with the mad whirl of it all, surprised that we were so strong today, and used my few online minutes this morning to express the intensity of the glee. It was a silly hypey post and quite meaningless. As an excuse i plead that i've been betting on this very move for almost a year now, and some degree of release of tension is to be expected as it starts. I'll try to tone it down at the 3, 4, and 5 levels, maybe a few air-guitar riffs from Handel but no more, i promise.

No, i don't use the margin credit they give you on anything that could slip back below 3 ... well, not much ... learned the hard way with Kinross about three times, Sherritt once, and a few others, ended up a few mornings in the red in the margin column ... not a good feeling, means you have to sell something right away ... although you know, one time i just let it go to see what they would do, and four days later still no one had called and i was back in the black through natural flow ... wouldn't want to bet heavy on that, though.

Margin levels do affect stocks, i think, so obviously some do use it ... and when you consider that when we close at bid 3.01 or better it takes only 1.55 of equity to buy the stock at 3.10, where it took 2.99 of equity to buy it at 2.99, you can understand why. But really, i wasn't being serious .... cheers
