Re: Smart Cards

Does anyone have any comments on two upstart technologies for storing information on credit cards? Both come from non-reporting BB stocks, and there are apparently "questions" surrounding both companies. LOL

UPGD - Claims to be able to put 10MB of data on a credit card using proprietary technology, including the use of Keepered Media from Ampex (a real technology for increasing the density and durability of magnetic storage), and claims that the resulting cards are 10 times more resistant to erasure than traditional credit cards.

CFMD, formerly CDDD - Claims to be able to put even more data on a credit card (10 GB I think) using proprietary technology involving multi-layered holographic storage.
