Jack, The market has always valued a pure play over more diversified companies. They move faster and are not burdened by excess baggage. Would you rather ride on a freight train or a sports car. I drive a Corvette and I own Ciena. On another note: "As Lucent Slips, Nortel Fills the Pipe". Interesting reading in today's IBD. Jack Hutchison
